If you continue to the north eastern part of the country, there is Kidepo Valley National Park in the rugged, semi arid valleys on the border of South Sudan and Kenya, it is located in about 700km away from Kampala the Uganda’s capital. The park is home to a variety of big games, with over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species. This makes it perfect travel destination for both wildlife and bird loves.
The park can be visited throughout the year, although conditions in the park are harder during the rainy season and it’s always advisable to use a 4×4 safari vehicle during the rainy season.
